The vedas acknowledge divine karma as the origin of all creation, preservation, and destruction. However, since God does not have desires, unlike humans, he is not constrained by them. In the first chapter of the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad (1.6.1), we discover that karma is one of the three main causes of diversity, alongside name and form. The variety in names is a result of speech, and the variety in forms is a result of the eye, while the mind and body are the sources for the variety in actions. For every action, the body serves as the source, the controller, or the lord. Within the body, the mind, speech, breath, organs of action, and organs of perception are regarded as the primary deities who receive sustenance from the body and carry out their respective functions. Nevertheless, we cannot solely depend on them to combat the impurities and the malevolent forces that can infiltrate our body, as they are susceptible to evil and demonic influences, thoughts, desires, temptations,...
Death is something which is inevitable and every organism is going to die if it takes birth, but let's not keep it till here. As there are much more things to be experienced than just accepting death as the end of our life. Let's Search the Roots.....
The personification of the power that destroys life, often represented in art and literature as a skeleton or an old man holding a scythe. This is what and how death is explained and again this has a connection with the body and the mind as a base of 'I'. This is something that Vedantists strongly oppose.
In psychology, Terror Management Theory suggests that a large part of all human behaviour is generated by unconscious fear of death. This fear generates a fundamental anxiety and unease, which we try to offset with behaviour such as status-seeking or strongly defending the values of our culture. We feel threatened by death and so seek security and significance to defend ourselves against it. Studies have shown, for example, that when people are made more aware of their own mortality, they tend to become more nationalistic and tribal and more materialistic.
However, this is by no means always the case. In fact, there is also a great deal of evidence showing that becoming aware of death can have a powerful positive effect, and bring about a radical shift in attitude and perspective.
Vedantic point of views for death says that, we are searching for something in our life span for our desirable fulfilment but we are asking something which life cannot do.
Although the death is inevitable, so getting depressed for it is a trait of a foolish person as life is for experiences, gaining knowledge and reaching the highest illumination. A Saint's thought process might be opposites as they have reached the highest illumination and they never complain about their day. This is something which they aren't worried of ,they are happy as an enlightened individual.
Swami Vivekananda had a contemplation on death where, initially we might get depressed but afterwards we will get a tremendous sense of freedom. There is absolutely nothing to be unhappy about death, as it is inevitable, and persuing death from vedantic point of view, we learn that "the real you" is never going to die. It's just that the body which dies.
When we are tied up with I, me, mine, death is really a serious topic of concern which will gradually come one day. Instead of that day turning to be worse, it should rather be the day of freedom. We are the witness of this body and mind. We are not his body. It's just we are changing this body. Let's interpret this as death is just turning a page of a book which it has already been read.
Monks of Ramkrishna Mission are used to hear this beautiful song, "MORON KA TUI KORISH NA VOY, MORTA HOBA SOBAR" to celebrate and enjoy the death and basically this beautiful song always reminds us that death is inevitable so why to be scared or worried of it.
