The vedas acknowledge divine karma as the origin of all creation, preservation, and destruction. However, since God does not have desires, unlike humans, he is not constrained by them. In the first chapter of the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad (1.6.1), we discover that karma is one of the three main causes of diversity, alongside name and form. The variety in names is a result of speech, and the variety in forms is a result of the eye, while the mind and body are the sources for the variety in actions. For every action, the body serves as the source, the controller, or the lord. Within the body, the mind, speech, breath, organs of action, and organs of perception are regarded as the primary deities who receive sustenance from the body and carry out their respective functions. Nevertheless, we cannot solely depend on them to combat the impurities and the malevolent forces that can infiltrate our body, as they are susceptible to evil and demonic influences, thoughts, desires, temptations,...
Psychology says quality of life depends on how much you can concentrate and what you concentrate on. The book "RAPT" is a great example of this statement as how quality of life can be changed by just having a positive perception towards something. Mind in its own place can make a heaven of hell and a hell of heaven.
Swami Ranganathananda said, "When I close my eyes I find peace within and when I open my eyes my attitude is what can I do for you."But now-a-days the psychology is totally reversed. As when we close our eyes we find chaos within and when we open our eyes our attitude is what can I get from you. Basically the problem starts here.
The focus which comes out from "selfishness" is a narrow band, which leads to unpleasantness, tension, and frustrated state of mind. Rather the focus which comes from love leads to a pleasant and peaceful state of mind. Here there is no need of such focusing techniques to gain focus on something.
1400 years back Gaurapada said duality comes from samsara and non-duality is freedom. Whereas Shankaracharya said duality is bondage and non-duality is liberation.Where there is mind there is duality and where there is no-mind there is non-duality. Duality is simply experience of this world on this mind. When mind becomes no mind, no more duality and no more sansara. Meditation is the key which creates a sense of mind to no-mind.
TODAY'S PSYCHOLOGY IS SAMSARA IS RESTLESS SO THE MIND IS RESTLESS BUT ACTUALLY THE MIND IS RESTLESS SO THERE IS A EXISTENCE OF SAMSARA.
In this materialistic era the existence of mind is supreme where there is duality and the existence of no-mind does not have any existence where there is non-duality.
NOW THE CHOICE IS YOURS WHAT TO CHOOSE.
