The vedas acknowledge divine karma as the origin of all creation, preservation, and destruction. However, since God does not have desires, unlike humans, he is not constrained by them. In the first chapter of the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad (1.6.1), we discover that karma is one of the three main causes of diversity, alongside name and form. The variety in names is a result of speech, and the variety in forms is a result of the eye, while the mind and body are the sources for the variety in actions. For every action, the body serves as the source, the controller, or the lord. Within the body, the mind, speech, breath, organs of action, and organs of perception are regarded as the primary deities who receive sustenance from the body and carry out their respective functions. Nevertheless, we cannot solely depend on them to combat the impurities and the malevolent forces that can infiltrate our body, as they are susceptible to evil and demonic influences, thoughts, desires, temptations,...
Who am I?/What am I?- the most basic question!
'Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa' when first saw 'Narendranath' he had a strong belief that 'Narendranath' would become a great Swami, who we now know as 'Swami Vivekananda'. But in return 'Swami Vivekananda' thought in his early stage that 'Sri Ramakrishna' was just pretending to be such knowledgeable. 'Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa' was once asked by his wife that what does he see in her and 'Sri Ramakrishna' replied that he can see 'Lord Maa Kali' in her so he always called his wife "MAA"!........was it his belief?
Lord Krishna who is a great believer of 'Karma' and whose Bhagwat Gita we read to know the perfect way to live our life but when it came to Lord Krishna's son-Pradyumna was he able to protect him? Hereby Draupadi and Gandhari had also cursed Lord Krishna........was it because of his karma?
Chanakya, when he was a child, broke his tooth to give confidence to his mother. Then after he became a great Indian philosopher, economist, royal advisor as well as his book "Chanakya Niti" is also famous in Corporate World. But on the other hand, for the first time he also introduced 'Visha Kanya'. But inspite all these we never try to know about his death!........was it his determination towards his life?
"Devavrat" got this name "Bhishma Pitamah" because of his commitment. He spent his whole life without breaking that commitment. He did everything to anything just for that commitment. But this didn't always turn up to a good end. Apart all we know.
So, by taking these four legendary characters I as a youth conclude with four key topics:
1. Belief
2. Karma
3. Determination
4. Commitment
Now the question is, 'Which trait to choose for the development of a youth's life or all traits? (To be continued......)
